WE NEED A CHURCH PRO JESUS
In connection with the Supplement the following message was sent to all readers of Soul and Vision and all bishops in India .
"At the moment the laity is neglected as second class people in Syro Malabar Church. We observe that the secret agenda for more power and authority for the SM bishops and the undeclared intention of converting the SM Church into a parallel church to challenge the Pope ( Powethil Fraction) will endanger the status of the laity and that of the ordained as well as women religious into an awkward position. In these circumstances formation of the opinion of the concerend is quite rightful and relevant. Hence we are forced to publish this supplement. We need a Syro Malabar Church which is Pro Jesus."
